Why does this happen?
Every Zotero plugin carries an ID, a name tag Zotero uses to tell plugins apart. Developers often start a new plugin from a ready-made template. The template comes with a placeholder ID, meant to be replaced. These plugins kept it, so Zotero can't tell them apart, even though they do different things.
What it means for you
- You can only have one of these installed at a time.
- Installing one replaces whichever of them you already have.
- The one you install may do something completely different from the one it replaces.
