What it does

Written by AI from the README

Detects PDB, UniProt and AlphaFold identifiers in a paper's PDF or HTML attachments and opens the structures in a bundled Mol* viewer window. Also opens local PDB, mmCIF and GRO files, and exports PNG or mmCIF.

Lets structural biology readers inspect a protein without leaving the paper. Scanning is local, and structures are downloaded from RCSB PDB or AlphaFold DB only when you open one. The Zotero version is described as a prototype.
