What it does

Written by AI from the README

Fetches the current Google Scholar BibTeX for selected items, preferring the published journal or conference version over preprints, and copies it. It also stores the result in an item field.

Scholar and old Zotero entries often return arXiv BibTeX for papers that have since been published. This finds the formal record. It may hit Scholar rate limits on large batches.
