A vocabulary book inside Zotero: collect words and phrases while reading a PDF. Each entry can keep a translation, the original sentence and page, and you get flashcard review and Anki export. Also tracks read or unread status and notes per paper.

Learning words from papers in a second language normally means copying them into a separate app and losing the context. This keeps them tied to the source sentence and paper. Its interface is in Chinese.
