PDF AI Translate has Atlas grade A (recommended) because every code check came out low. It works with Zotero 7–10. Last checked 6 Nov 2026.

Translates a whole PDF and exports a side-by-side bilingual PDF, with the original on one side and the same layout with translated text on the other. Figures and formulas stay in place. Works with any OpenAI-compatible service and needs an API key.

Reading papers in another language otherwise means copy-pasting or losing the layout. Supports a glossary, page ranges and resumable translation. Defaults to translating into Simplified Chinese. Built for Zotero 10.
